In supporting food security, Noken Community Development Unit Task Force of the National Police with Agricultural Agency of Depapre and Depapre Sectoral Police gave vegetable seeds and farming tools aids to Njamin farming group of Kendate village, Depapre district, Jayapura regency, on Saturday (07/08/2021).
The event was attended by Police Commissioner Attendant Amandus Jhon Selvanus Nuboba, Police Inspector 2nd Class I Made Ambo Arjana as Chief of Depapre Sectoral Police, Police Inspector 2nd Class Chrys Ryzer Aditya Putra Rumbiak, Police Inspector 2nd Class Novita Fonataba, Police Chief Brigadier A A Raka W Putra, Police Brigadier Hesty V S Depondoye, Police Brigadier 1st Class Susance B Rumere, Police Brigadier 2nd Class Edgar Wira Suripatty, and Chief of Kendate village, Mr Ibrahim Waisamon.
On occasion, Chief of Depapre Sectoral Police, Police Inspector 2nd Class I Made Ambo Arjana, said that today Police brought the seeds and farming tools from the Agricultural Agency. There are also fertilisers and spraying tools commonly paid for by Noken Community Development Unit Task Force.
"These are the orange seeds. Please plant and maintain them. Do not let it die due to dehydration when we visit it later. Do not think of other aids. I do not need any ceremonial moment and photo-ops, but we want to see how the mother of this village success the agriculture sector", Chief of Depapre Sectoral Police said.
On the same occasion, Police Commissioner Attendant Amandus Jhon Selvanus Nuboba said, "Today we come and see the farming land and fishing ponds in the Kendal village of Depapre district, which in accordance with the programme from Chief of National Police and Chief of Papua Regional Police named Welfare for the People (Kasuari), to help popular welfare in Papua".
Chief of Kendate village, Mr Ibrahim Waisamon, thanked the Chief of Sectoral Police and personnel and Noken Community Development Unit Task Force team who came to the village to educate and give aids, and from Agricultural Agency who unfortunately did not have time to attend.
"May God repays the ladies and gentlemen's kindness", the Chief of Kandate village concluded.
The event then continued to handover of plant spraying equipment from the Agricultural Agency by the Depapre Sectoral Police, plant watering equipment from Police Commissioner Attendant Amandus Jhon Selvanus Nuboba, received by Mrs Angelina Yanggroseray.
