inp.polri.go.id - Palembang. An FGD activity with the theme The Importance of Preventing Radicalism and Terrorism for Generation 5.0 organized by the South Sumatran Pancasila Student DPD (MAPANCAS), Sunday (27/2/22) was held at the Grand Atiyasa Convention Center Palembang building.
The Head of Sub-Directorate IV of the Directorate of Security Intelligence (Ditintelkam) of the South Sumatra Police (Polda Sumsel), AKBP Iralinsah, S.H., came to replace the Head of the South Sumatra Regional Police (Kapolda Sumsel), Inspector General Drs. Toni Harmanto, M.H as the speaker.
According to Iralinsah, one of the efforts to overcome the notion of radicalism and terrorism is through the actualization of Pancasila by the youth and rejecting all forms of radicalism and terrorism.
"And then there is also, through a virtual strategy, in social media. we have to be wiser and smarter to filter everything from the internet before we share it unto others," stated the Head of Sub-Directorate of Intelkam.
Through creative strategies, such as civil organizations supporting the government in disseminating anti-radicalism and terrorism, it is hoped that they can eliminate every notion of radicalism and terrorism in Indonesia
"It is hoped that with this activity and the material I convey, lessons can be drawn so that they can be applied after this seminar," concluded AKBP Iralinsah.
