Sulut Authorities Identified 3 Suspects Covid-19 Subvention Corruption

The North Sulawesi Regional Police (Kapolda) have named 3 suspects for alleged acts of corruption in handling the economic impact of Covid-19 at the Regional Secretariat and the Food Service of North Minahasa Regency. The corrupted funds are found in the 2020 fiscal year.

"The resoluteness of the suspect was based on the results of an audit by the North Sulawesi Provincial BPKP Representative on December 23, 2021, with irregularities that caused state financial losses of approximately 61 billion rupiah," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Police, Commissioner Jules Abraham Abast, Tuesday (1/2/22).
Investigators from the Ditreskrimsus Polda North Sulawesi have carried out the examination process to determine 3 suspects, initialed YNM, MMO and SE. The investigation was based on Police Report number: LP/A/259/V/2021/SPKT.DITKRIMSUS/POLDA SULUT dated May 24, 2021 and Investigation Order number Sp.Sidik/25/V/2021/Dit Reskrimsus Polda North Sulawesi, May 25 2021.

"Currently YNM and MMO have been detained at the North Sulawesi Police Detention Center. Meanwhile SE is still out of town and will fulfill the summons," said the Head of Public Relations.
