Sulteng Authorities Implores Citizen to Uninfluenced by Misinformation

inp.polri.go.id - Palu. The Central Sulawesi Police Chief (Kapolda Sulteng), Inspector General (Irjen) Rudy Sufahriadi, confirmed that he supports the local government efforts in accelerating COVID-19 vaccination.


The Central Sulawesi Police Chief appealed the residents to help successing the program and not to be influenced by false information or hoaxes about the Covid-19 vaccine.


"We, TNI and Polri, are working together to accelerate vaccination coverage and we are also helping to educate the public so that they are not affected by hoax news about vaccines," said the Two-Star General, Thursday (10/02/2022).


According to the data from the Ministry of Health, as of Wednesday, the first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccination only covered around 52% and 25.7%, respectively, of the 196,628 elderly citizens in Central Sulawesi Province.


The authorities COVID-19 vaccination in Central Sulawesi Province has reached 2,135,907. Those who have received first dose of vaccination is at 77.7% or 1,659,015 people, residents who have received the second dose of vaccination is at 46.02% or 982,881 people, and those who have received booster is at 1.14% or 24,472 residents.
