Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Medan. Police Journalists Communication Forum (Forkom Warkop) appreciates North Sumatra Regional Police's hard work in uncovering the murder ofa journalist in Simalungun.
"We must appreciate North Sumatra Regional Police for their quick steps. We hope police soon can uncover the motive for the murder of Mara Salem Harahap," Head of Warkop Forkom, Jhon Manik explained.
He mentioned the case that attracted attention of many people received special attention from Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police, Police Inspector General R. Z. Panca Putra, so his staff immediately moved quickly.
"I received news Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police is also cooperating with the Indonesia National Armed Forces in uncovering the Marsal murder case (Mara Salem Harahap's nickname)," he said.
According to him, the good cooperation between Indonesia National Police and Indonesia National Armed Forces make it easier for the case to be revealed as well as to catch the perpretators. There are two suspects who have been arrested. However, Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police in his statement in Pematangsiantar on Wednesday (06/23/2021) did not mention the number and initials of the perpetrators who had been arrested.
As a journalist who has served in the Police for long time, Jhon Manik admits he understands why the Chief of North Sumatera Police did not rush to publish the perpetrators.
"They (police officers) are still working hard to uncover and arrest the people involved, not only the executors but also the actors," he concluded.
Previously, it was known an online media journalist named Marsal Harahap was shot dead by an Unknown Person (OTK) in his car on Saturday (06/19/2021), in Simalungun, North Sumatra.
