The departure of the Mobile Brigade personnel was marked by a Departure Ceremony led by the Head of the West Sulawesi Regional Police, Pol. Inspector-General Eko Budi Sampurno, at Tampa Padang Airport Mamuju, Monday (09/27/21).
The tears of emotion from his wife, children and family accompanied the departure of the personnel assigned to provide a sense of security to the athletes who would compete and maintain the security and order situation of the Papuan people who were disturbed by the terrorist acts carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
"In carrying out their duties, the West Sulawesi Regional Police's Mobile Brigade personnel are divided into two task forces, 1 task force team carrying out security and escort (Pamwal) and one anti-anarchist company task force team," said the West Sulawesi Regional Police Chief.

The two-star general was also advised to adapt to the surrounding environment, maintain cohesiveness, coordination and synergy with related parties, especially with fellow National Police personnel, National Armed Forces, local government and all stakeholders so that the task's success can be achieved.
