Inspector-General Nico Afinta, accompanied by the Chairperson of the East Java Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management (Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management), KH. Marzuki Mustamar and Rois Syuriah Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management East Java Anwar Manshur together with the Main Officer of the East Java Police and the Head of the Sidoarjo Resort Police, carried out the first stage of vaccination checks with a target of 6000 doses, assisted by 60 health workers and lasted for two days, using the Sinovac vaccine among students and students of the Social and Ma'arif Education Foundation (YPM). ) Park in Sidoarjo Regency, Tuesday (09/14/2021). This is a form of support for the government, in order to realise herd immunity in East Java.

Today, the East Java Police together with Medical and Health division carry out vaccination activities at YPM, with a total of 6000 doses carried out for two days, now 3000 doses and tomorrow 3000 doses, said the East Java Regional Police Chief after checking the vaccination.

This is part of a vaccination strategy targeting students and students at the junior and senior high school levels, where recently the East Java Regional Police have carried out vaccinations for all levels.

"Then we will also continue to work together with Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management, in increasing the acceleration of vaccination. Tomorrow we plan to have a meeting. In this meeting we discussed how to accelerate the absorption of vaccinations in East Java. Of course, Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management with all of its staff, we discussed, are ready to implement it. With this program and the purpose of this meeting, later we will look for people, places, systems, and agreed mechanisms, so that later we plan to only drop the vaccine, which will have one or two people from the National Police and the Regional Military Command," said the East Java Regional Police Chief. .

"Hopefully the implementation can run smoothly, every time it is dropped it runs out immediately. So that this will later be spread throughout East Java. The hope is that the target of 70% of the 31 million that has been set by the government will be achieved by East Java more quickly, of course with joint synergy," he continued.

"Please give good support to the community, we will always be ready to carry out vaccinations, let's come to community police, come to Non-commissioned law enforcement officer posted , come to Neighbourhood and report, later in stages a vaccine will be prepared for the community," said the Regional Police Chief for people to be vaccinated.

While related to leveling, the Regional Police Chief also explained that there are several parameters, namely the response made by a region to the problem of positive numbers, recovery rates, and death rates. The response has three parameters. The first is how much testing is done, how much tracing is done, and how successful the treatment is.

“This is always evaluated by the Minister of Health and there are several regions, for example yesterday Lamongan, Tuban, had dropped to level one. Because the response to the problem was good. For areas that are still at level 3, we hope to do the same thing, so that by continuing to lower the level later, one of them later the PTM process will be carried out according to the rules. But all have to be vaccinated so that all teachers, students and devices in an educational institution are vaccinated," said the East Java Regional Police Chief.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the East Java Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management KH. Marzuqi Mustamar also said that his party will continue to coordinate with the police, in this case the East Java Regional Police, to make this government program a success, both among nadliyin residents as well as NU educational institutions and Islamic boarding schools.

"We, NU, in addition to having a COVID-19 task force, whose duties include carrying out, supporting, and coordinating on vaccinations, we continue to encourage Islamic boarding schools, Ma'arif educational institutions, islamic school, and community members to continue to receive vaccines. Thank God, we were successful, from the Regional Police, from the Resort Police, each Nahdlatul Ulama Universities got thousands of vaccines," explained the Chair of the East Java Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management.
