Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Tanjungpinang. Riau Islands Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Aris Budiman Bulo, distributed basic food assistance to the community in Tanjungpinang, Friday (08/13/2021).
The Riau Islands Regional Police Chief accompanied by the Tanjungpinang Police Chief along with the Riau Islands Regional Police's High Rank Executives distributed the food items at the Km 13 TPA. The theme for this activity was 'Fighting Against Covid-19'.
Tanjungpinang Regional Police Chief, Pol. Grand Commissioner Fernando said, the Social Service 'Fighting against Covid-19' was carried out in the Tanjungpinang City area, distributing 150 food packages containing rice, sugar, instant noodles, chicken eggs, sterile milk.
"This activity is a form of empathy and concern for the Police for the community to help those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic," he said.
It was revealed, Mrs. Izah, a scavenger at TPA Km 13 Tanjungpinang who is one of the representatives receiving social services, thanked the Chief of the Riau Islands Regional Police for the social assistance that had been given.
