Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Ahmad Sahroni, appreciated the cooperation between the Division of Profession and Internal Security of the National Police Headquarters and the National Commission on Human Rights regarding strengthening human rights monitoring in Indonesia.

The Deputy Chairperson of Commission III of the House of Representatives welcomed the swift attitude of the National Police's Division of Profession and Internal Security in responding to public criticism by coming directly to the National Commission on Human Rights to strengthen human rights monitoring and provide explanations related to cases that were in the public spotlight.

Appreciation to the National Police's Division of Profession and Internal Security for being very responsive in responding to the commotion in the community regarding the Police. "They came to National Commission on Human Rights to provide explanations without being asked, this is very good because it brings the spirit of transparency and a quick response that is not anti-criticism," explained the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives in his statement, in Jakarta.

His party assessed that the visit of the National Police's Division of Profession and Internal Security Division to the National Commission on Human Rights deserves a thumbs up because the element of human rights must be upheld in the implementation of police duties.

In addition, according to him, the meeting between the National Police's Division of Profession and Internal Security and National Commission on Human Rights was also held to discuss cooperation in internal and external supervision of the National Police, especially in the enforcement of human rights.

"Of course, I strongly support this because it shows the quick response of the Head of the Division of Profession and Internal Security Police Division in responding to cases of violations by unscrupulous members of the Police," he said.

Previously, the National Police and National Commission on Human Rights agreed to strengthen human rights monitoring in the country. "On the orders of the National Police Chief, we came to meet with National Commission on Human Rights as an external supervisor to strengthen the supervision of human rights aspects," explained the Head of the National Police's Division of Profession and Internal Security, Pol. Inspector-General Ferdy Sambo, in Jakarta.

At the meeting, the Head of the Division of Profession and Internal Security emphasized the Police's commitment to maintaining the enforcement of human rights in implementing the duties and authorities carried out by each member in the field. This is in line with the idea promoted by the National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, namely predictiveness, responsibility, and fair transparency (Presisi).
