Hearing information from the Hamlet Head that two residents were sick, Police Chief Brigadier Ahmad Santuso rushed to Gunung Putri village, where he served as Bhayangkara for Community Police Officers (Bhabinkamtibmas).
Even though the terrain was quite rugged and hot, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of the police, who are familiar with the residents in their assisted villages, to assist their sick residents, namely Pak German (71) and Bu Miswa (69).
Police Chief Brigadier Ahmad Santuso said that the assistance provided was limited to personal abilities, namely in vitamins and 10 kg of rice to meet the daily needs of the two elderly citizens and classified as underprivileged.
"The community in the assisted villages are family, so if someone is sick, it is our obligation as members of the National Police to provide moral support and assistance, especially if the residents are not capable," he said.
