Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police, Police General Commissioner Agus Andrianto, issued a telegram containing instructions to his personnel to punish illegal online loan platforms.
Deputy Chief of Special Economic Criminal Act Directorate of Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police, Police Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan, hoped that the instruction telegram could answer much relentlessness on the rampant illegal online loan platforms in many regions.
"The Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency even sent the telegram to all police personnel in Indonesia to uncover the illegal online loan platform criminal act", the Deputy Chief of Special Economic Criminal Act Directorate said at the Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police, South Jakarta.
Deputy Chief of Special Economic Criminal Act Director said that now his personnel at Directorate of Special Economic Criminal Act of Criminal Investigation Agency would keep recording and investigating reports from the public regarding the online loans terror.
"However, there are still many reporting the said platform. Our personnel are now still investigating in many regions", Deputy Chief of Special Economic Criminal Act Directorate said.
Previously, Deputy Chief of Special Economic Criminal Act Director of Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police has discovered fraud and extortion act pretended to be from an online platform called RP Cepat in West Jakarta.
Five people are now suspects. The online loan platform is suspected to be controlled by 2 Chinese citizens.
