Previously, dozens of children and several parents in the Sukamentri Village area, Garut City Subdistrict, Garut Regency admitted that they had been alleged betrayal to join the deviant sect of the Indonesian Islamic State. They are not only given alleged betrayal, they are also suspected of being imbued with radicalism.
The Head of Sukamentri Village, Suherman, said that the disclosure of dozens of residents who entered the NII began with a report from a resident who admitted that his 15-year-old son had a deviation in his aqidah.
Receiving this information, his party did an in-depth investigation of the data. It turns out that the number of children who experience similar deviations is quite large. In total, there were dozens of children and several parents.
"It is suspected that they entered the NII after taking alleged betrayal by someone. Most of those who entered were still children, and there were also adults and the elderly. Based on the confessions of several children who claimed to be in alleged betrayal, one of the doctrines given was to consider the Indonesian government to be thogut (astray)," he explained Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
