“The war against drug trafficking and abuse continues to be carried out by the South Sumatra Police Department of Drug Control and the ranks of the Resort Police. This is evidenced by the arrest of 38 suspects, consisting of 32 drug dealers and 6 drug users with 33 police reports," explained the Head of Public Relations of South Sumatra regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Supriadi, Tuesday (08/03/2021).
Meanwhile, the evidence seized was 16 pills of ecstasy and 266.83 grams of crystal methamphetamine, added the Head of Public Relations of South Sumatra Regional Police.
In terms of quantity (LP), the most disclosed were the Palembang Polrestabes 7 LP and 7 TSK, Muratara Police 4 LP and 4 TSK, Prabumulih Police 3 Lp and 5 Tsk and Muara Enim Police 3 Lp and 5 Tsk.
From the quality of the evidence confiscated, the Mura Police Station 104.94 grams of crystal methamphetamine, the Muratara Police Station 55.52 grams of crystal methamphetamine and the Palembang Police Station 26.73 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 5 Ecstasy pills.
Head of Public Relations of South Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Supriadi said that from the narcotics evidence that had been confiscated, the Narcotics Directorate and his staff had saved 1,632 people from South Sumatra from the dangers of drug abuse.
"We do not stop urging all levels of society to jointly stop drug trafficking by protecting themselves and their children and families from the dangers of drug abuse," said the Head of Public Relations.
