Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Palembang. South Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Eko Indra Heri, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of the South Sumatra Police Brigadier General Pol. Rudi Setiawan, and the South Sumatra Regional Police High Rank Executives symbolically received assistance from the United Palembang Chinese community and the distribution of social assistance to 17 Regional Unit and the provision of Tali Asih to Health Workers at the South Sumatra Regional Police Headquarter Apple Courtyard, Monday (08/16).
The two-star general said that the assistance received would be distributed to the affected communities in South Sumatra.
Praise to the Lord, today we have received extraordinary assistance to help the people of South Sumatra who have been affected by COVID-19, said the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief.
The South Sumatra Regional Police Chief explained that this assistance will be useful and the community will continue to carry out strict procedures, starting diligently washing hands, maintaining distance, wearing masks and we pray that this Covid 19 Pandemic will soon disappear from the face of this Earth.
"We are very grateful that the assistance provided is very much needed in the midst of the conditions in our province that have been affected by COVID-19, so this assistance is very much needed, let's set aside some of our income to help our communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic." said the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief.
The two-star general said that the assistance provided by the Chinese people of United Palembang totaled 400 million Rupiah, namely in the form of 100 medical oxygen cylinders, 100 regulator units, then the Regional Police distributed Social Assistance as much as 170 tons of rice for 17 Regional Units and 1,700 Indomie Noodles for 17 Satwil and as well as providing Tali Asih to health workers.
We make sure that this is not the first and last thing to do, his party together with the National Armed Forces, the regional government will continue to distribute it to regencies/cities in South Sumatra, explained the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief.
