South Sumatra Deputy Chief of Regional Police Appreciates Mass Vaccination Held by Islamic Student Association Palembang Branch

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Palembang. Deputy Chief of South Sumatra Regional Police, Brigadier General Pol. Rudi Setiawan, reviews the Covid-19 mass vaccination activity at the Palembang Branch of the Islamic Student Association (HMI) Secretariat Office on Jalan Radial Palembang, Thursday (08/19/2021).

Also present to accompany the Deputy Chief of the South Sumatra Regional Police, Chief Operational Bureau of South Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Kamaruddin, Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commossioner Supriadi, Head of the South Sumatra Regional Police's Doctor and Health Field, Pol. Grand Commissioner Syamsul Bahar, Director of Intelligence and Security at the South Sumatra Regional Police represented by Deputy Director of Intelligence and Security at the South Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Dwi Mulyanto, Head of Palembang Police represented by the Head of Operations Division of Palembang Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Eddy Aprianto Haka, and Police Station Ilir Barat I, Resort Palembang Police, Police Commissioner Roy Aprian Tambunan, and the Islamic Student Association of Palembang Adi and Febri Task Force along with the board of directors.

Besides being intended for students, the general public can also get the Covid-19 vaccine for free there until. The condition is that it is enough to show an ID card and apply health protocols to wear masks, wash hands with soap and not crowd.

The one-star general said that one of the keys to success in handling the pandemic is the cohesiveness and togetherness of all elements of society.

"And today, the brothers from Islamic Student Association really showed a good performance, showing a concern for the community and we must appreciate this." explained the Deputy Chief of the South Sumatra Regional Police.

The one-star general also appreciated the mass vaccination held by Islamic Student Association which was carried out in accordance with the health protocol.

The Deputy Chief of the South Sumatra Regional Police is also optimistic that the minimum target of herd immunity can be achieved immediately because South Sumatra has the support of many parties, the government, State Enterprise, Regional State Enterprise and the community as well as other private parties.

Not to forget, we express our gratitude to the Palembang's Islamic Student Association Task Force for collaborating with the South Sumatra Regional Police and our appreciation to the Healthcare Vaccination Officers who are experienced in their fields as well as residents and communities who voluntarily and without coercion have undergone the Covid-19 vaccination.

We should be grateful for this and God willing, with all of our efforts, we can suppress Covid-19 cases and our city can return to the green zone, "explained the Deputy Chief of the South Sumatra Regional Police.
