“The war against drug trafficking and abuse continue to be carried out by Directorate of Drug Crimes of South Sumatera Regional Police and the ranks of Resort Police. This is evidenced by the arrest of 38 suspects, consisting of 32 drug dealers and 6 drug users with 33 police reports," Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Drs. Supriadi, MM explained Tuesday (08/03/2021).
"While the evidence seized was 16 pills of ecstasy and 266.83 grams of crystal methamphetamine," Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Police added.
In terms of quantity (legal report), the most case disclosed were in Palembang City Resort Police with 7 legal reports and 7 suspects, Muratara Police 4 legal reporst and 4 suspects, Prabumulih Police 3 legal reports and 5 suspects and Muara Enim Police 3 legal reports and 5 suspects.
From evidence quality confiscated, Mura Resort Police 104.94 grams of crystal methamphetamine, Muratara Resort Police 55.52 grams of crystal methamphetamine and Palembang City Resort Police 26.73 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 5 Ecstasy pills.
Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Drs. Supriadi said from the narcotics evidence that had been confiscated, Directorate of Drugs Crime and its ranks has saved 1,632 people of South Sumatera from the dangers of drug abuse.
"We keep urging all levels of society to jointly stop drug trafficking by protecting themselves and their children and families from the dangers of drug," Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police said.
