Zulpan invites students to actively campaign for the Covid-19 vaccination program to strengthen the body's immunity against the Coronavirus, which is now endemic.
"We invite students, especially in the Makassar City, to actively campaign for the importance of Covid-19 vaccination to their colleagues and the wider community," explained the Head of Public Relations Division of the South Sulawesi Regional Police in reviewing the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination to students and the general public at Public Post-Secondary School (SMAN) 05 Makassar, Friday. Police Grand Commissioner E. Zulpan said the administration of this vaccine was to strengthen the body's immunity against Covid-19. With this vaccination, herd immunity is realized or group immunity.
According to the Middle Officer of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, it cannot be done alone in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. It must be done together, such as students actively campaigning for the importance of the Covid-19 vaccination.
"I am proud of Makassar students who have shown concern by taking part in the success of the Covid-19 mass vaccination," he said.
The Head of Public Relations Division of the South Sulawesi Regional Police said currently, the public's interest in participating in the Covid-19 vaccination is increasing. This shows awareness of the importance of the Covid-19 vaccine in breaking the chain of transmission of the virus.
"We continue to invite the public to participate in the Covid-19 vaccination. For example, suppose all the people of South Sulawesi have received the Covid-19 vaccine. In that case, the group's immunity which is the goal, will be formed so that the pandemic can be ended in our area," concluded Police Grand Commissioner E. Zulpan.
