In this activity, Noken Jayawijaya Community and Society Development personnel visited the children of Primary School (SD) Inpres Obia who were not yet active in the teaching and learning process at school due to the Covid 19 pandemic and invited the existing children to play and sing and asked what their dreams were and gave motivation on how to achieve the goals that the children dream of.
The Head of Community and Society Development Unit of Jayawijaya Departemental Police, Police Commissioner Attendant Harbani Paruki stated that his party encouraged the younger siblings to be still enthusiastic about studying at home and instilling the spirit of nationalism or love for the homeland in children. In addition, his party, together with the children, sang the Indonesia Raya anthem and Sunday school songs to lighten the mood.
"We also remind children to take care of their health when leaving the house while wearing masks, diligently washing hands with soap in running water, maintaining personal hygiene and the cleanliness of the environment where they live to avoid the coronavirus. We also reminding school children to always listen to teachers and parents," said the Head of Community and Society Development Unit.
On this occasion, Noken Community and Society Development also distributed notebooks, pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers, and snacks to the children to be enthusiastic in achieving an education.
