Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Pekanbaru. Riau Regional Police together with Cipayung Plus Organisations held a vaccination activity at UIN Suska Campus, Riau, Tuesday (08/24/21).
This vaccination is the first dose of the Sinovac type.
Head of the Medical Agency Riau Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Priyo Kuncoro said that there were 450 doses of vaccine prepared.
"Overall, Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi is involved in increasing immunity or Herd Immunity for the academic community," said Pol. Grand Commissioner Priyo Kuncoro.
In addition, the 450 vaccines prepared were divided into two, 200 for the UIN Suska Riau Academia Community (lecturers, employees) 250 for the Cipayung Plus organisation.
"We want to do this continuously and rolling so that Herd Immunity is formed and Covid-19 cases decrease," said the Head of the Riau Regional Police's Health Department.
Previously, it was known, Riau Governor Syamsuar added that the number of Covid-19 vaccines was 500 doses for the implementation of vaccinations at UIN Suska Riau.
