Evidence of methamphetamine types weighing 145.58 kilograms and 3,975 pills of ecstasy of one month operation were destroyed by Riau Regional Police at Riau Regional Police Headquarter yard. The ecstasy pill was destroyed by blending it with bathroom cleaning liquid. Meanwhile, methamphetamine was destroyed by incinerator machine, which was preceded by an examination of drug samples.The evidence was caught for a month and originating from Malaysia.
The evidence of 145.58 kilograms of methamphetamine and 3975 ecstasy pills was the result of 7 disclosures made by Directorate of Drug Investigation of Riau Regional Police, Bengkalis Resort Police, and Dumai Resort Police. 13 perpetrators with the initials BW, RA, SU, TO, JO, MA, WI, AR, RP, ARJ, HB, RA and AM were arrested.
"We destroyed evidence, catched from June and July. The total amount of evidence was 145.58 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 3975 pills of ecstasy. In previous arrestment there was an international network that we have revealed, with total of 108 kilograms of evidence. There are cases from Dumai and Bengkalis Resort Police. From Dumai, the evidence was 16.89 kilograms of methamphetamine, then from Bengkalis, 18.79 kilograms,” Director of Directorate of Drug Investigation, Police Grand Commissioner Victor Siagian, Thursday (07/29/2021).
