Riau Regional Police Chief Reviewing Mass Vaccination in Kampar

Riau Regional Police Chief, Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi together with several High-ranks officer of the Riau Regional Police, reviewed the implementation of the Covid-19 mass vaccination for the elderly by the Kampar Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force in the Plaza Bangkinang area, Bangkinang Kota District, Kampar Regency, Riau on Sunday (29/5 /2021) afternoon.
Also present with the Riau Police Chief, namely the Director of Criminal Investigation, Police Grand Commissioner Teddi Ristiawan, Director of Traffic Management, Police Grand Commissioner Firman Darmansyah and Deputy Chief of Mobile Brigade, Police Ramon Zamora Ginting SIK.
The arrival of the Riau Police Chief and the entourage was welcomed by the Regent of Kampar, H Catur Sugeng Susanto SH, accompanied by the Kapolres Kampar, AKBP Mohammad Kholid SIk, Dandim 0313 / KPR Lt. Col. Inf Leo Octavianus M Sinaga SSos, MIPol and Kasiswa Kampar, Arif Budiman SH MH. Also present were Sekdakab Drs Yusri MSi and heads of related agencies of the Kampar district government, as well as a number of key Kampar Police officers.
Arriving at the location of the activity, the Riau Police Chief and his entourage immediately reviewed the implementation of vaccination by the Kampar Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force, for residents of Kampar Regency for the elderly category aged 50 years and over.
On this occasion the Riau Police Chief also met face to face with the Covid-19 Handling Task Force and the community members who participated in the vaccinations, the Riau Police Chief also provided direction and motivation to officers who worked extra in order to handle the spread of Covid-19.
For the implementation of vaccination by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force for Kampar Regency in the Plaza Bangkinang area, today there are 110 participants registered and 103 people have been vaccinated, 7 others are postponed because they do not meet the requirements after screening by the vaccinator officer.
On this occasion the Riau Police Chief also held a press conference with a number of journalists and conveyed several things, including that one of the objectives of this review was to ensure that the implementation of PPKM was running effectively.
The Task Force Team to complement each other to work better in dealing with Covid-19. Meanwhile, for vaccination, it is important to prioritize the elderly, because this group is the most vulnerable to the impact of Covid-19 transmission.
