Reviewing Vaccinations in Panarung, Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Distributes Free Face Masks and 200 Food Packages

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Palangkaraya. In order to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19, the Head of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Pol. Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, together with a several of Main Officials of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police reviewed the mass vaccination activity which took place in Panarung Village, Palangka Raya City, Saturday (08/21/2021).

The Central Kalimantan Police Chief said that in this vaccination activity, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police targeted 200 people to be vaccinated for the first dose. In addition to vaccination activities, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police also distributed 200 food packages and face masks to the public.

"Hopefully, the social assistance provided can be useful and ease the burden on the people affected in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. To suppress the spread of Covid-19, it is necessary to have community compliance and discipline towards health protocols by means of 5M and 3T. That is wearing masks, washing hands. , maintain distance, avoid crowds, and reduce mobility as well as Testing, Tracing, and Treatment," added the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief.

"Hopefully, with the implementation of the vaccine this time, it can accelerate the formation of herd immunity so that the spread of COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan can be reduced to a minimum," concluded the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief.
