In his remarks, the Chief of Indonesian National Police said that he would strengthen the acceleration or acceleration of vaccination in agglomeration areas, Banten. This is because continued the Chief of Indonesian National Police, Indonesian National Armed Forces, Indonesian National Police, volunteers and all elements of society working hand in hand to realise the target of the Indonesian Government regarding vaccination. The results of that hard work have been realised in Jakarta, where the first dose has reached 100 per cent.
"Praise the Lord, yesterday in the Jakarta area, it has reached 100 per cent. So I ask all ranks to improve in the agglomeration area. Banten is an agglomeration area that we have to work on," explained the Chief of Indonesian National Police in his remarks.
This vaccination is in collaboration with the Confederation of All Indonesian Trade Unions (KSBSI) at PT. Elite, Tangerang. According to the Chief of Indonesian National Police, for the Banten area, his staff assisted by all elements will accelerate to pursue the government's targets. In the future, it is hoped that the first and second doses of injections will increase immediately.
"So the achievement of vaccination will be increased immediately because I see that the Banten area is still at 28 per cent of the first dose of vaccine and around 13 per cent of the second dose of vaccine. This will continue to be encouraged so that soon we hope to get the first vaccine and then the second one can increase, " said the Chief of Indonesian National Police.
Meanwhile, the former Chief of Banten Regional Police also appreciated the workers who are members of the KSBSI because they have played an active role in helping to create herd immunity.
"We know, and we admit that these fellow workers are foreign exchange heroes for all of us. It is from these fellow workers that one of the policies related to exports is, of course, we continue to push," said the former Chief of the Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police.
The Chief of Indonesian National Police explained that economic activity could run if the workers' group had been vaccinated. However, said Sigit, they still have to apply strict health protocols.
"So that workers can be vaccinated and can work even though they have to carry out health procedures properly. So that industrial activities can run, and workers can maintain their health," said the Chief of Indonesian National Police.
In addition, the Chief of Indonesian National Police appealed to all groups of workers who have been vaccinated to continue to apply the prokes in a disciplined manner. Given, this is still one of the efforts to suppress the growth rate of Covid-19.
If the Covid-19 growth rate is suppressed, the Chief of Indonesian National Police stated that there would be adjusted allowances in the future so that the industrial sector can run according to health protocols.
"So that public health will get better, the rate of growth of Covid-19 can be controlled, and it will decrease. Meanwhile, we can encourage the economy to grow better," said the Chief of Indonesian National Police.
