Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Purbalingga. Central Java Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, visited the vaccination program for workers at PT. Boyang Industrial, Purbalingga Regency, Tuesday (08/23/2021).
The Regional Police Chief said that this vaccination was carried out to create COVID-19 immunity among workers, especially in the industrial sector.
"Exactly today, the second stage of the Sinovac vaccine was carried out, which as of last month the stage 1 vaccination was carried out," explained the Regional Police Chief at a press conference.
The Regional Police Chief added that this vaccination is expected to create herd immunity for our society, especially for employees.
Even though the National Armed Forces and National Police have carried out mass vaccinations, the Regional Police Chief explained, the public is still obliged to implement health protocols.
"Because we know that COVID-19 in our area is still there, so until now we have to take care of Health Protocol, the most important thing is to wear a mask," said the Regional Police Chief.
The Regional Police Chief also explained that wearing a mask means that we protect ourselves and others.
It is known that there are as many as 300 employees of PT. Boyang Industrial got the second type of Sinovac vaccine.
To maximize the achievement of herd immunity, the Central Java Regional Police Chief plans to add a drop of Moderma type vaccine for the people in Purbalingga.
