In this activity, as many as 270 people took part in the vaccine activities carried out by the Riau Regional Police. The Independence vaccination activity is to make it easier for indigenous people because many still do not have Identity Cards (KTP).
We held the Riau Regional Police's Independence Vaccine to reach our brothers and sisters from the deepest tribe, we know that many of them do not yet have an ID card or Citizenship Number, explained the Riau Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi.
The two-star general explained that indigenous peoples are still having problems when registering manually because they are constrained by population data. For this reason, the Riau Police together with Regional Leadership Coordination Forum reach out to the community to get the vaccine.
"We will continue and this is the first vaccine. Later, together with Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, we will continue for the second vaccine," explained the Riau Regional Police Chief.
The Riau Regional Police Chief hopes that by reaching out to the deepest tribes, the common desire to realize Herd Immunity can be realized.
"I'm sure everyone understands that the spread and transmission of Covid-19 is still ongoing, by implementing the vaccine, we have adequate immunity. Today there are 270 Sakai tribesmen and residents around us who are vaccinated in this place, we thank the grandparents who provided socialization The importance of this vaccine is to bring brothers and sisters to participate in this vaccine activity," explained the Riau Regional Police Chief.
