Realizing Herd Immunity, Yogyakarta Regional Police Collaborates with the Tourism Office and Hiswana Oil and Gas to Hold Vaccinations

Tribratanews.polri.go.id. - Sleman. Yogyakarta Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Asep Suhendar, again reviewed the implementation of vaccinations for the community at Sindu Kusuma Edu Park Mlati Sleman, Thursday (08/12/2021).

The implementation, which is intended for the general public, especially targeting residents around the playground as well as tourism, Yogyakarta Regional Police provides the first 1,000 vaccines.

The Regional Police Chief on the sidelines of his visit said that his party was coordinating with the Yogyakarta Provincial Government regarding the availability of vaccines.

“Availability is still safe for Yogyakarta. As long as it is still available, we will continue at least until we meet the target of 2.8 million Yogyakarta residents who are vaccinated. With that, we hope that herd immunity can be achieved," explained the Regional Police Chief.

According to the Regional Police Chief, as stated some time ago, the Yogyakarta Regional Police are willing to work with anyone to meet the targets set by the government.

On the same day, the Yogyakarta Regional Police also carried out vaccinations at the Ambarketawang gas station rest area, Gamping Sleman. The vaccination activity which was carried out in collaboration with Hiswana Migas was carried out for two days with a target of 1,200 vaccines for residents around gas stations and extended families from Hiswana Oil and Gas.
