Tribratanews.polri.go.id- Pekanbaru. The Riau Regional Police carried out raids on drug villages in a number of locations in Pekanbaru, Riau. A female dealer with the nickname 'drug queen' was also secured at the location.
The raids were carried out by the Directorate of Drugs and the Mobile Brigade Unit of Riau Regional Police, Wednesday (06/16). There are 153 joint personnel deployed in five locations, one of which is Kampung Dalam and Pangeran Hidayat.
Yesterday we carried out an operation in a drug village that is well known to the public in Pekanbaru. (A total of) 153 joint personnel were involved in the operation, said Director of the Riau Police's Drug Directorate, Pol. Grand Commissioner Victor Siagian, Thursday (06/17).
During the raid, 15 peoples suspected of being involved in drug trafficking were arrested. One of them is a woman with the initials W (36) and her husband, N. W herself is known to the public as the 'drug queen'.
"Yes (the drug queen), we also secured her from Kampung Dalam. She is indeed quite well known to the public, so we carried out operations to prevent circulation," he said.
Unfortunately, the police did not find any evidence from W. However, after a urine test, W tested positive for using drugs and was immediately arrested.
"We did not find BB at his house. But from the positive test results for using drugs and we are investigating," he said.
Regarding the alleged leak of the secret operation, the Riau Regional Police's Drug Administration has firmly denied it. He confirmed that there was no evidence because access to the location was very difficult.
"If information is leaked, I don't think there is any from members. But indeed to get to the location it is very crowded, thickly crowded with people and if we enter, they will certainly be," he said.
The Director of Drugs at Riau Regional Police then detailed the location of the drug village in the center of the city and it was crowded. Even the houses suspected of being in the city are also interconnected with other houses in the vicinity.
"Those houses are interconnected, so the evidence is 150 grams of methamphetamine with 800 plastic clips, the seller wears a mask. So it's like a bunker headquarters there, but we make sure to keep fighting until it runs out. This must be finished," he said.
