The additional 42,000 doses of this vaccine are to boost areas where vaccination uptake is still low. The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police targets to absorb 7,000 vaccines per day.
Head of Public Relations of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Artanto, said that his party received a large supply of vaccines to carry out the attention of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo regarding vaccination uptake.
"We got 42,000 doses of vaccine which must be finished in nine days," explained Head or PR.
Tens of thousands of doses of this vaccine were distributed to the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police. Resort Police is given the freedom to innovate vaccinations on targets so that they can be absorbed quickly.
Meanwhile, Chief Operational Bureau of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police,Pol. Grand Commissioner Imam Thobroni, said that three areas related to the implementation of the World Superbike Mandalika Circuit also received priority.
"The city of Mataram, West Lombok, Central Lombok, we are trying to achieve a minimum 70 percent vaccination immediately," he explained.
Chief Operational Bureau of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police also added that Special Economic Zone Mandalika in Pujut, Central Lombok will hold a world-class race for the first time in history in November 2021, namely the 2021 WSBK Mandalika Circuit. Five villages supporting the Mandalika SEZ have at least 70 percent of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Referring to the records of the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Health Office, the achievement of the first dose of Covid-19 vaccination was 18.43 percent and the second dose 9.6 percent. Still below the national average of 32.57 percent for the first dose and 18.65 percent for the second dose.
