Gresik Indonesian Ulema Council held Mandiri Vaccination collaborating with the East Java Regional Police and the Gresik Resort Police. Vaccination is referred to as an outward effort as effort to protect the people.
The vaccine recipients are cleric, administrators and families of the Gresik Indonesian Ulema Council, Madin teachers, Quran Education Park teachers, Da'i and the surrounding community. The vaccine given is the Sinovac type.
The implementation of vaccination is an outward effort to achieve herd immunity. In addition, vaccination is called an effort to protect people from the Covid-19 virus attack, explained the Gresik Indonesian Ulema Council, Mansoer.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Health Department, Pol. Grand Commissioner Erwin Zainul Hakim, with Directorate of Community Development - Pol. Grand Commissioner Asep Rosadi, and accompanied by the Gresik Resort Police Chief - Pol. Grand Commissioner Mochammad Nur Aziz said that his party was ready to fully support the vaccination activities organized by the Gresik Indonesian Ulema Council. This is a form of the Police in supporting the acceleration of vaccination and as an effort to fight Covid-19.
"There were as many as 2300 participants who took part in the vaccination. They consisted of Kiai and the community around Kebomas. Hopefully, with the vaccination, the spread of the Covid-19 virus will soon subside," explained the Head of the Health Department.
