Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The patrol teams in the Greater Jakarta Metro. The Regional Police area will be merged into one and will be formed into the Dream Team.
Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector-General Fadil Imran said this patrol team would appear with a 'new face'. Learning from the current shortage of patrol teams, the 'Dream Team' is expected to carry out patrols strictly but without violating human rights. The patrol team from the Sabhara Unit will work at night.
"Much input through social media to anticipate crime at night. I plan to create a 'dream team' that will give birth to new heroes to guard the community so that their sleep is calm," said the Regional Police Chief.
The Regional Police Chief said that this team would become a unit of patrol teams in all Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police, such as Raimas Backbone, Team Jaguar, Team Cobra, Team Hunting Thugs, and others.
"Later, we will unify, we will uniform, but we will build quality control together. The tools, skills, knowledge are uniform," said the Regional Police Chief.
The ability to deal with criminals and the patrol team is also expected to understand their duties and authorities when taking action in the field.
"I train the skills, the ability to drive, the ability to know about human rights, the ability to communicate, the ability to crime and how to transform the Police that the leadership expects," continued the Regional Police Chief.
Like the existing patrol team, this Dream Team will patrol at night until late in the day. Starting next week, this team will be given special training.
"Next week, I want to gather this Sabhara Team so that he becomes a bat at night. His only job is from 10 pm to 5 am to go around securing the capital city. Brawl, illegal racing that disturbs Jakarta's security at night, so his job is only to be a policeman at night, "explained the Regional Police Chief.
The former East Java Regional Police Chief also added that the patrol team would also be armed at night. However, of course, this weaponry is accompanied by training in shooting.
"We are armed; the bang on the leg hits the head. No, that is just a story. The dor on foot must hit the foot. Don't be like the Brimob boar; the bang on the leg hit the head; why 'bow down the person'," said the Regional Police Chief jokingly.
"So later the teams, whatever their names are Jaguar, Cobra, Thug Hunters, Raimas Backbone, we will all train how to use motorbikes. After that, his shooting ability, his self-defence ability. So when people hear the name, they pee in their pants. So creating heroes in protecting the capital needs to be done together," added the Regional Police Chief.
