Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Medan. To minimize people movement, Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police will continue to divide districts and cities during the extension of PPKM (Community Activity Restriction) Level 4 until August 23, 2021.
This was said directly by Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police Chief, Police Inspector General Panca Putra Simanjuntak after monitoring integrated self-isolation center at Hajj Dormitory, Tuesday (08/10).
"This is to minimize unnecessary movement of people, especially those who travel by land and air, must follow rules such as showing the first vaccine and antigen swab," Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police said.
When asked about people showing off their activities despite being exposed to Covid-19, Panca said they had taken firm action.
"What is clear is that together we educate and raise community awareness not to convey things that are not important to social media which can later harm other people," Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police explained.
"So anyone who makes [false] news or things that make public got the wrong information, we will take action by referring to existing rules and laws," Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police concluded.
