The police dispatched a Food Task Force in anticipation to prevent a spike in food prices ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
"The Food Task Force held an inspection every day ahead of Ramadan, and will intensify it when Ied al Fitri is looming closer," stated the Head of the Public Relations Division (Kabid Humas) of the National Police (Polri), Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, Tuesday (01/02/22).
Kadiv Humas Polri said that the Food Task Force will conduct a survey to the center of production, and will also continue to uphold the law, adds Dedi.
"This will continue to be carried out by law enforcement operations, including observing the location of the center of production," said the Akabri graduate in 1990.
According to the Two-Star General, the observation is carried out with all parties involved. It also guarantees that the distribution of all daily items will run smoothly ahead of Ramadhan.
“The Food Task Force guarantees that the distribution of all daily needs will run smoothly, so we can maintain the prices. This is what the Food Task Force does, continues to work together, synergize, collaborate with other relevant stakeholders," concluded Kabid Humas Polri.
