Police Will Send Additional Medical Unit for Cianjur Earthquake Victims

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Cianjur.  National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, went directly to see the earthquake victims at Bhayangkara Hospital in Cianjur, West Java, Tuesday (11/22). The National Police Chief confirmed that the earthquake victims who had broken bones had received treatment at the hospital. The National Police Chief has also instructed the Head of Police Medical Unit to send additional medical personnel from the National Police Headquarters.

"We will send additional doctors from Headquarters to help victims who had broken bones, so they can be treated immediately," explained the National Police Chief.

The National Police Chief explained that as a result of the earthquake, a number of hospitals were affected. But he assured that the medical services for the victims and patients will not be disrupted. The General will also set up emergency tents at the Bhayangkara Hospital so that they can serve more patients and earthquake victims. The National Police have also prepared additional tents and places for trauma healing.

"We have coordinated with related parties, especially hospitals that need additional health workers. If there is a shortage of human resources, I have ordered the Head of Medical Unit to send Police personnel immediately," explained the Four Star General.
