Police Intensified Security in Kuta, Seminyak, and Legian

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Denpasar.  The National Police began to expand security activities during the day of the G20 Summit on November 15-16, 2022. There are three locations that will be focused for medium-scale patrols, and it would be in Seminyak, Legian, and Kuta.

Operational Assistant of the National Police Chief, Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi explained, from the results of the G20 Summit security evaluation by the National Police Headquarters on Monday (14/11) evening, it is necessary to carry out preventive measures in these three locations which are places of public gatherings.

"As many as 60 Samapta personnel from the National Police Headquarters and 40 Samapta personnel from the Bali Police and 80 personnel will patrol the Seminyak and Legian and Kuta clusters," explained Inspector General Agung Setya, Tuesday (11/15/22).

The two-star general said that during the last five days, flights to Bali were quite busy. At least 20 thousand people flew to Dewata Island. And for this reason, his party wants to maintain conduciveness and expand security operation around the location.

During the G20 Summit, the National Police conducted security operation under the code name of Puri Agung 2022. They are responsible for security operations in ring three, which is the outermost layer of security which mainly deals with the community.
