Surabaya Police Sends 35 Tons of Rice to Cianjur

The Head of Surabaya Police Public Relations, Commissioner Muchamad Fakih, explained that the provision is part of their concern to ease the suffering of the victims. His party also keeps coordinating with related institutions for the needs in evacuation posts.

“This humanitarian aids is part of our symphaty and emphaty for the people of Cianjur,” said Commissioner Muchamad Fakih, quoted from Liputan6.com, Tuesday (11/29).

The food packages sent to the earthquake victims in Cianjur included 3.5 tons of rice, 1,392 liters of cooking oil, 410 kilograms of sugar, and various kinds of clothing for babies and women's clothing.

"Besides that, we also sent women's neccessity kit, tarpaulins for shelter, blankets, and other things," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Surabaya Police.

The Head of Public Relations of the Surabaya Police said that the social assistance that was distributed was part of aid fund from members of the Surabaya Police.
