A house in Palembang, South Sumatra, was raided by the Palembang Police (Polrestabes Palembang) Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) because it was used as a home industry for firearms.
The house, which is located on Jalan TKR Kadir, Lorong Gayam, Gandus District, Palembang, is suspected of being used as a homemade firearms factory.
"A variety of tools were found for making firearms and there are assembled rifles and soft guns made by them. We also found all the equipment for making cylinders, and cylinders that have not been cut yet," explained the Head of Satreskrim, Commissioner Tri Wahyudi, Tuesday, (22/02/22).
The equipment for making homemade firearms in the three-story house was reported to be complete.
One revolver assemblies and four rounds of ammunition were found and secured by officers to be used as evidence in the investigation.
