Ahead of New Year's Eve, Pekanbaru Police will employ traffic engineering to prevent any disturbances during the celebration night.
Head of Pekanbaru Police, Commissioner Pria Budi explained that the traffic scheme will be employed if there is a congestion.
“We will divert the traffic if there is a congestion,” says Pekanbaru Police Chief, quoted from riau.genpi.co, Thursday (12/29). He says that personnel will probably also employ one way traffic engineering.
It was reported that 912 joint personnel from police, military, and other related stakeholders have been prepared to secure the New Year’s Eve with the deployment on Leton IV Bridged, SKA flyover, green spaces, and other places prone to crowdings.
