inp.polri.go.id - Sumbar. Four trucks containing assistance from the West Sumatra Police (Polda Sumbar) were deployed by the West Sumatra Police Chief (Kapolda Sumbar) Inspector General Teddy Minahasa P, SH. S.Ik. MH, on Sunday (27/2).
This humanitarian aid of basic necessities and clothing aimed to help the people affected by the earthquake in West Pasaman Regency and Pasaman Regency.
"With the earthquake in Pasaman and West Pasaman, Polda Sumbar and the other ranks of the Resort Police provided assistance to the area to help ease the burden of the refugees,"
Conveyed by the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas), the trucks contain a bag of rice, clothes, blankets, foods, and also other instant foods.
"Hopefully this can provide relief for our people who are in refugee camps," he said.
The deployment of Polda Sumbar aid was also attended by the West Sumatran Police's Irwasda, Commissioner Arif Rahman Hakim, and Kapolda Sumbar.
