inp.polri.go.id - Padang. The joint team of West Sumatra officials continue to conduct search and rescue operations since five days ago, to search for the victims being buried by a landslide in Pasaman due to an earthquake on Friday (25/2/22).
"The TNI, Polri, and SAR are currently still trying to search the victims. For now, we are doing a manual search by involving the K-9 dog from the West Sumatra Police (Polda Sumbar)," said the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the West Sumatra Police (Polda Sumbar), Commissioner Satake Bayu, on Tuesday (1/3/22).
Kabid Humas Polda Sumbar stated that the operations are also aided by two sniffer dogs, and adds that they probably going to add more sniffer dogs in the operation.
“More or less it will be like that. We will request Polda to add another sniffer dog to the operation,” said Kabid Humas Polda Sumbar.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumbar also informed that the community could go to the Polda Sumbar emergency service if they need it.
