Polda Sulteng Pursuit Head of BPKAD Bangkep Regarding Corruption Case

inp.polri.go.id – Riau. The Regional Police (Polda) of Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) has named former Head of the Banggai Islands (Bangkep) Regency Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Ahmad Tamrin as a fugitive for corruption cases.


According to the reports of Polda, Ahmad is a suspect in the embezzlement of Bangkep APBD funds in 2019, which cost the state up to IDR 29.3 billion.


Head of Public Relation Polda Sulteng, Commissioner Didik Supranoto, S.IK., explained that after conducting an investigation, investigators from the Central Sulawesi Police Ditreskrimsus issued an arrest warrant numbered DPO/07/II/2022/Ditreskrimsus on February 3, 2022.


“Those warrant name Ahmad Tamrin as suspect and fugitive that must be arrested to be held accountable for his actions, "explained the Kabidhumas Polda Sulteng.


Kabidhumas said the letter included information detailing Ahmad Tamrin. He was born in Waepo on December 9, 1975, male, Indonesian, and his address is at Buka Village, Tinangkung District, Banggai Islands Regency.


His other address is at Maliaro Village, RT013/RW004, Central Ternate District, Ternate City, North Maluku. For his physical appearances, he has a height of 175 cm, a round face, tan skin, and black/curly hair, explained the Head of Public Relations.


"With the issuance arrest warrant, people who know about Ahmad Tamrin's whereabouts are asked to report to the investigators of the Corruption Crime Sub Directorate of the Central Sulawesi Police with the number 082144165456 or 081393941972," he explained.
