Director of Traffic (Dirlantas) South Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda Sulsel), Commisioner Faizal, S.I.K., M.H., will facilitate the juvenile who took interest in wild race or drag street race in Makassar City. This is part of an effort to reduce the illegal racing action that is currently rife in a number of protocol roads in Makassar City.
"We will try to facilitate the youngsters who took interest in a drag race," explained the Dirlantas Polda Sulsel after attending Guidance and Counseling activity for the Traffic and Trafficking to the Head of the Makassar Motorcycle and Car Club Community in the Blue Hall, Friday (4/2/2022).
However, Dirlantas has not determined when the time is yet, because they will have to first coordinate with the provincial government and Makassar city government regarding facilities and infrastructure to realize this extreme sport.
"Hopefully there are facilities that we can use to channel their hobbies, especially drag racing, and then road racing," he said.
