inp.polri.go.id - Makassar. The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda Sulteng) arrested two unemployed men who were involved in drug abuse and trafficking.
The total of methamphetamine that was secured by officers reached 7 sachets weighing 176.74 grams. Two perpetrators, with the initials AG (24) and MA (44), were both secured on Jalan Trans Sulawesi, Burau District, East Luwu Regency (Lutim) on Saturday (5/2/22).
Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) Polda Sulteng Commissioner Komang Suartana, S.H., S.I.K., said the disclosure started when his team received information that there would be a drug transaction.
"When we were searched, we found 1 box containing 2 sachets of crystal methamphetamine which was kept in his trouser pocket," explained Kabid Humas Polda Sulteng, Tuesday (7/2/22).
It did not stop there, the officers then investigated the perpetrator's house. As a result, the officers found several packets of methamphetamine sachets ready for distribution.
"Two suspects were charged with Article 114 Paragraph (2) Subsidiary Article 112 Paragraph (2) Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 Year 2009 concerning Narcotics," concluded the Head of Public Relations.
