South Sumatra Police (Polda) will conduct safety measures ahead of Lunar New Year 2573 under the instructions of Police Chief Inspector General Drs. Toni Harmanto, M.H.
"In compliance with the direction of the South Sumatra Police Chief, to carry out security as competently as possible, stay alert to threats that can occur anytime anywhere, including threats of terror, and the potential threats of Omicron outbreak prompted by crowds," said the Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Police, Commissioner Drs. Supriadi, M.M., Monday (31/1/22).
The Head of Public Relations said that he had prepared anticipatory steps, deploying security personnel vigilance, and continued intelligence detection to minimize potential disturbances at the 2022 Chinese New Year celebrations in the South Sumatra region.
"In addition, the Regional Police Chief also advised that health protocols during the Lunar New Year celebrations have to be maintained and implemented, and stay vigilant regarding the potential that will arise, including flood disasters," he explained.
So Lunar New Year 2022 activities will run smoothly while still complying with health protocols during the celebration.
