Tribratanews.polri.go.id - On the eve of the 2023 New Year, Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Mohammad Fadil Imran, strictly prohibits the use of firecrackers and fireworks during the Car Free Night which are planned to take place along the Sudirman-Thamrin road.
He explained that in celebrating a joyful new year, one must look at the negative sides, so it is necessary to ban the use of firecrackers and fireworks in Sudirman Thamrin.
"Firecrackers and the like are prohibited, throughout Sudirman-Thamrin. The use of firecrackers and fireworks is considered to have many negative sides, including causing a fire," said the Inspector General Fadil Imran in his statement quoted from detik.com, Friday (30/12/22).
On this occasion, he added that the use of firecrackers contained powder that would fall and caused trouble to people.
