The Metro Jaya Regional Police (Polda Metro Jaya) stated they will continue to monitor the distribution of cooking oil in DKI Jakarta.
The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Metro Jaya Commissioner Endra Zulpan, S.I.K, M.Sc., said that the supply of cooking oil is still safe in Jakarta.
"We continue to monitor from Polda Metro Headquarters, but until now, the distribution of cooking oil is still stable," said Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Monday (21/2/22).
Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya said that he will continue to anticipate if hoarding occurs.
"Polda will anticipate if it happens, but we haven't got a shortage case in Jakarta," stated Commissioner Endra.
Previously, the National Police's Food Task Force found several findings of alleged hoarding cooking oil. These hoarding happens in Kudus, North Sumatra and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
