inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Metro Jaya Police Chief (Kapolda Metro Jaya) Inspector General (Irjen) Fadil Imran commemorate the National Press Day (HPN) 2022 with several journalists at the Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday (8/2/22).

Irjen Fadil Imran briefly mentioned the Covid-19 issue, especially the Omicron variant which is now spreading in Jakarta. He said that the new variant spreads four times faster than the other variants.

For this reason, all journalists must maintain health protocols and take their booster vaccinations to strengthen immunity against the Covid-19 virus, said The Kapolda. The families of the journalists were also asked to come to the Polda Metro Jaya to receive a booster vaccine injection.

"For those who haven't had the booster vaccine, our institution provides a booster vaccine every day. I hope that all Polda Metro Jaya journalists got their booster vaccines, not only journalists but also their families," explained the Kapolda.

The Two-Star General also said that Polda Metro Jaya has various types of vaccines for boosters, from Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer to Moderna. The public can also freely choose the type of vaccine.

"Hopefully, through this opportunity, all Polda Metro Jaya colleagues, especially journalists, have been boosted," explained the Regional Police Chief.

Irjen Fadil Imran reminded the community, especially journalists, to adhere to the health protocols and always wear masks.

"I'm sure, with our joint efforts, we can get through this third wave of the Omicron variant. It is up to us to keep the public moderate," explained the Kapolda.

“Warm greetings, best regards, happy National Press Day,” concluded Kapolda.
