inp.polri.go.id - Kaltim. Deputy Police Chief of East Kalimantan Regional Chief (Wakapolda Kaltim) Brigadier General Drs. Hariyanto, S.H., M.Hum., greeted the vaccinators at the Indo Tennis Court. The East Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda Kaltim) also prepared 4,000 doses of vaccine for the people of Balikpapan in the Vaccination Gebyar program, Sunday (27/02/2022).
Vaccination continues to be held across East Kalimantan to suppress the mounting number of Covid-19 cases, one of which was carried out by Polda Kaltim. A total of 4,000 doses of vaccine were prepared in the Vaccination Festival, which took place at the Indoor Tennis Court, Jalan Letkol Pol HM Asnawi Arbain.
Brigadier General Drs. Hariyanto, S.H., M.Hum., stated that this vaccination aims to increase the number of a booster vaccination.
"This is in line with the Order from the Ministry of Health, that booster vaccinations can be given three months after the second vaccine," said Brigadier General Hariyanto.
Wakapolda Kaltim emphasized that the number of those who got booster vaccines in East Kalimantan was still very low, which is 9%. He hopes that this vaccine program can contribute to increasing the booster vaccination in East Kalimantan.
