The East Java Regional Police (Polda Jatim) secured a number of containers from Gorontalo which were suspected of containing the products of the black stone mine. The 10 containers were sent using KM Segoro Mas, from Gorontalo to Surabaya.
Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) Polda Jatim Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, S.I.K., when asked about the case, he confirmed the container units from Gorontalo were secured by the authorities.
"We are still conducting further investigations regarding the documents used by the suspects," said Police Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, on Sunday (20/2/22).
Prior to this case, Class III Gorontalo Port Authority (KSOP) had detained two containers suspected of containing black stone from Bone Bolango.
However, the two containers were successfully dispatched without any further legal process. It was even suspected that this have happened several times before.
