East Java Police Conducts Large Scale Patrol to Watch Over Houses in Cianjur

Tribratanews.polri.go.idThe West Java Regional Police conducted large-scale patrols in Cianjur post-earthquake. This was done to anticipate the theft in houses left by displaced residents. Large-scale patrols are carried out by joint forces. There were two teams that took turns in patrol.

"One of the issues that we have to also handle is to watch over the abandoned houses, because they are prone to theft," explained the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo at the Cianjur Police Headquarters, reported from Antaranews.com, Tuesday (29/11/22).

Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo said, to anticipate this crime, his party deployed Bhayangkara Security Unit, together with locals.

"We are also increasing our strength by deploying 100 Security Maintenance Agency personnel so that police officers can more freely carry out surveillance in residential areas. There are also personnel from Mobile Brigade Corps and carrying out the same patrols to the affected areas," explained the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police.
