The Banten Police (Polda) held an assembly for the 2022 Lunar New Year security preparedness at Polres Serang City, Monday (31/01/22).
The preparedness assembly was led directly by the Head of the Serang City Police, AKBP Maruli Ahiles Hutapea represented by the Head of Operation Serang City Police, Kompol Yudha Hermawan accompanied by the Head of Sub-Division of Penmas Bidhumas of the Banten Police, AKBP Meryadi, and 130 Banten Police personnel involved in securing the 2022 Chinese New Year.
In his instruction, the Head of Operation Serang City Police Department said that the purpose of this security was to provide service, security, and safety for people who would commemorate the Chinese New Year.
"The purpose of this security is to anticipate things and to provide services, security, and safety for Banten residents who will commemorate the Chinese New Year," said Serang City Police Intermediate Officer.
Kompol Yudha Hermawan ordered personnel from the Mobile Brigade Unit Polda Banten and Ditsamapta Polda Banten to carry out patrols and dialogue to anticipate the occurrence of disturbances.
"The community expects the presence of the National Police as well as the protection from all of us, hopefully, we can carry out this noble task carefully and with a full sense of responsibility so that the situation is under control," concluded the Head of the Serang City Police Headquarters.
